ARTIST STATEMENT
Through our veins flows the wisdom from ages past, a memory of times when everything that gave life was revered as sacred. During a time of inner searching, I discovered this wisdom within myself as a smouldering ember, quietly waiting for me to ignite it.
This fire inspired me to weave together stories of ancestral wisdom with the present moment. Every layer of wax I apply is a ritual, an ancient remembrance: we have not always lived under systems of domination. Deep within, we carry the knowing that another way is possible.
While reawakening this ancestral memory, reimagining their ancient language, reinterpreting their symbols and rituals, I found a language for a different future.
My works are portals into ancient wisdom cultures that never truly disappeared. They carry that memory into the present and invite you to look at what has been disrupted — in our relationship with the earth, with each other and with ourselves. Because this is where our power lives: when we are brave enough to witness what had been disconnected and change our relationship with it, earth will thrive.
I believe we need feminine principles to lead us, now more than ever — not as a soft alternative, but as a serious answer to how to restore balance. My art is a bridge between past and present, a reminder that the knowledge of how to live in harmony has always been here. Let us remember.
