Reconnecting with ancient wisdom through encaustic art

WORKSHOPS
Working with beeswax truly holds a magical quality, and I’d love to invite you to experience it yourself during a workshop.
In just about 2 hours, I’ll guide you through the basics of encaustic painting. This isn’t the "hobby" version, but the authentic, professional technique that dates back to ancient times. You will learn about creating the medium, working with earth pigments, different blending techniques and working with scraping tools. By the end of the session, you will have created a small artwork that you can take home with you.
Please note that this method of working requires both precious materials and specialised knowledge. I do my best to keep the price accessible, while ensuring you take home something truly valuable. I intentionally keep the groups small, so I can give personal attention to your creative process and ensure your safety throughout.
Minimum 2, maximum 4 participants

Each workshop starts with a short meditation to tune into what wants to be created through you. Authentic creation from your soul, the subconscious, is for me an essential part of working with beeswax.
Would you love to take a course but don’t have someone to join you right now? Let me know! I keep a list of people who are interested in painting and will happily connect you with others.
*When after the workshop you would like to purchasing one of my artworks worth €900,- or more, you will receive the course fee as a discount!
I look forward to sharing this beautiful experience with you!
With love,

Anne-Claire Martens
